This 2,125 authentic Canadian log cabin offers plenty of room to host the entire family. The architecture and view are breathtaking. King bed in the master upstairs, Full bed on the upstairs loft. Queen bed and twin bunks down stairs and a sleeper sofa on the main level. 4 fireplace to set a romantic or cozy atmosphere. Or enjoy the great outdoors in the hot tub or by the fire pit. Arcade machine with over 200 games in the basement.

The last 1.5 miles to the home is on a scenic dirt/gravel road where you are likely to see deer, racoon, and sometimes even wild turkey. It takes you to the top of the mountain with woods surrounding the property and an amazing mountain view. The drive adds to the adventure and you will not hear road noise at this cabin. Do not worry, a four wheel drive is not required.

This is a Really Great Cabin. I have been coming to the Blueridge area from FL for the last 10 years and this is one of the best locations and places I have stayed in. Great Family place that has something for everyone, we had grandpa, and kids and everyone had things to do from the Hot Tub, to the video games, to the board games - this place has everything! Would come right back!

Beautiful home in a beautiful place!
My family and friends wanted a private cabin in the woods to celebrate birthdays and early Thanksgiving and this was the perfect getaway cabin away from the cities.
The place was pretty easy to find and neighbors were far enough to provide privacy. The inside of the house was very clean (a family member is germophobic and brought a black light flashlight and everything was clean)
The view from the bonfire was beautiful and we were able to enjoy the hot tub with the view as well.
The host communicated really well and quickly. The only downside was the lack of functioning oven as some of the family members planned to make some Thanksgiving dishes but the host communicated with us early enough so we could find alternative ways beforehand.
Really appreciate Christen and Matthew for being such wonderful hosts to share such a beautiful home for a great, memorable experience!

Had a fantastic weekend here with the family! Gorgeous cabin with so many amenities that made you feel right at home and accommodate the needs of our little ones. Cabin was super clean! Matthew was very responsive, very detailed with all the instructions and recommendations of things to do around the area. He was also very accommodating with our needs to make sure that we felt right at home. The views from the back of the cabin are spectacular. Location is great as well as its close drive to everything you can possibly need. Highly recommended.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful! My family and I enjoyed every minute of it. We were able to sit on the back porch and take in everything. The best part was looking at the stars at night. The outside radio made it even more perfect! Our girls loved the swings at night while we roasted marshmallows. We would definitely stay again.

A very cozy cabin with spectacular views! Very spacious! The host was very sweet and did have a baby gate and high chair which was awesome as we were traveling with a ten month old. No shower or detachable head so we brought her portable bath and used a bucket with a cup. Not a problem at all, but definitely want to mention if traveling with a baby so you can make accommodations. Very responsive host and lots of great recommendations. We would love to go back again.

Beautiful cabin. We saw a lot of deer on the way up and down from the cabin. There’s a short hiking trail from the side of the house.
Cabin was clean and so cute to the slightest touch. They have little quotes everywhere that set perspective. My 5 year old loved the pac man machine.
Very spacious and comfortable gave us all our space if working remotely. Matthew was very accommodating to our needs and had excellent communication. We purchased two coasters for our memories and can’t wait to be back with maybe a bigger group. Thank you Matthew and his family for letting us enjoy the cozy bear lodge 🐻

It was the first time for my parents and my wife to stay at a cabin for vacation. They were skeptical initially and they were blown away as soon as they walked in. My little daughter was super excited, and she started exploring the house right away. Overall, the cabin was great, clean and well maintained. The amenities were all there as described. The beds were comfy. A lot of wild life animals were in the surrounding area. The road might be discouraging for some as it has one lane and it is a rocky road. I personally think this enhanced the whole experience about staying in a cabin. The host, Matthew, was also super responsive when I messaged him about several things during our stay. Highly recommended!

Bring your hiking shoes. Trails right outside your door to explore for days!! Minimal to no traffic on the trails. Only 6 cabins at the top of the mountain. Large parking area able to accommodate 4+ vehicles.
